I have never been so sickened by the graphicness of a film. What was scary after the suspense and well written books I was looking forward to the film...It sickens me that I was. Okay so a different type of heroine and a reported standing up for good and morals and a mystery all sounds good...

But the level of sadism and torture and rape in it...they brought it all to the screen. I heard people going out early saying with disgust what type of person would want to go and see this. And yeah...when I think that I enjoyed the books it just well I nearly threw up from that film and I may take my review of the books down off good read.

Some part of me wonders whether my brain is wired wrong to have enjoyed the film...or whether too since it has become a best seller that we have all become blaise to human suffering and life.
