27. Around the World

Well Ladies and Gents while the definitive dates are still missing for it, we have the countries I am going a visiting. I am to be setting out this August and return next August. So I present my list, if anyone wants to try and meet me anywhere or offer any tips on what I should be seeing there.

We say goodbye to Belfast and touch down briefly in London where I may have a night then...

Japan
China
Cambodia
Lao
Vietnam
Thailand
Australia
New Zealand
America (Los Angles and San Fran)

and then back through London to Belfast and the real world

If you feel like swinging through DC on your way back, I know somewhere you could stay :D.

(California is like the wrong side of the continent, yo :P).

There are some pretty cheap flights between the coasts, especially when you take the exchange rate into account--you can grab non-stop flights from coast to coast for $100-$150, especially if you grab them way in advance. Whether or not it's worth it kind of depends on how long you'll be in the states (but DC is way more awesome than LA :D. SF is pretty sweet though).

For planning purposes: Closest airports to me here are BWI (Baltimore Washington), National (Also called Reagan National, but that gets political; it's almost like the Londonderry/Derry thing), and Dulles. JetBlue and Southwest airlines are the ones with the cheapest flights; Jetblue doesn't sell tickets through any website but its own.

And I'll look into that holiday thing :).

Only tip: TAKE A LOT OF PICTURES!! That way, the poor schmucks on your flist who can't go traveling can see what a good time you were having and live vicariously through you. ^_^

Other than that, I am on the other side of the country from Los Angeles and San Fran, so drat!
