Boredom has well and truly set in, I am hiding from relatives talking about olden days and err... stuff that was putting me to sleep?

One glass of wine with dinner and not a snifter of alcohol since. My mum got excited for me when we saw three fireworks out the window. I am going mad and I am routing out an episode or two of favourite NCIS episodes to keep me awake until midnight.

I am also doing up to writing journals for the new year - one for original and the other for fanfic (under a name that isn't linked to my lj name). Probably for a grand unveiling when I have the first bit of writing for each which...could always take along while

Rather than hosting a New Year's party, as we've done in previous years, palmedfire and I are going to Williamsburg, Virginia to a party at a friend's house. Well, a boyfriend of a very good friend is hosting at his parents' house. So we're going there. There will probably be much video-gaming and dorking-out - maybe a round or two of "Are you a werewolf?", and some drinking, although I don't usually drink much. Hopefully there will be silly movies and reminiscing and all that rot as well.
