I just got a Kindle as an early birthday present from my parents yesterday =D =D =D I own ONE book: A Cry in the Night by Mary Higgins Clark. It's not a literary opus of life-changing magnitude, but it's so GOOD!

Congrats on getting your passport/visa stuff handled, too. I got behind on my reading list due to our freaking power being out for awhile x__x but I think I'm caught up, and I'm so excited for you, and so glad you're getting more and more ticked off of your to-do list ♥

If you've never read Maya's Harry/Draco fics, then you really should~ They're not online anymore, but I can probably send you one or two (or the complete collection) if you'd like =)

Also, ,a href="http://didntyoupotter.livejournal.com/1546.html">Snatch, another H/D fic, is one of my favorites.

In Between Days is my favorite Snape/Harry fic. It's sort of violent and disturbing and angsty, though. But in a really well-written way?

So Lonely Without Me is probably my second favorite Snape/Harry fic. It's also sort of messed up, but it's a quiet, reflective piece that also makes me want to start writing things again whenever I read it.

Commonplace Magic is a non-magic AU Snape/Harry fic which I reread every three months or so, just because it makes me feel so good. Not my favorite, but it's one that makes me very happy.

My friend Liz has a book rec blog that is supposed to focus on sci-fi/fantasy books, but really reaches everywhere. Maybe you should check out her recs. Redshift Books.

I recommend reading her review on Invisible Cities and seeing if you might want to get that for your travel-reading.
