I'm leaving on a jet plane....
I've done it! Planes are booked, tours were necessary booked, visas applied for, banks sorted. I leave on the 19 August. My route
Belfast - London - Beijing to Hong Kong Tour - Hong Kong - Bangkok - tour of Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam finishing in Bangkok again - Australia - New Zealand - San Fran - New York (meet ups with people and additional cities to be added as needed) - London - Belfast
Nano this year is going to be nuts, I will be in Australia for half and New Zealand for half.
To my Americans, I don't have exact dates yet, I'll be working exact dates out while I am in New Zealand so we have time to scheme!
I am an excited, nervous person who has three weeks to finish getting ready!

....unless maybe what I've been doing wrong is NOT taking whirlwind world tours! That would explain a lot.
I can't wait to see your US dates ♥

Travelling is fun and I bet you will have a brilliant time. You will write in your journal during your travels I hope? I look forward to read about your adventures. Take lots of pictures!
I bet you have that special tummy ache right now, the feeling in your gut saying "OMG, what am I getting myself into????!!!!" :)
I am well familiar with that feeling and it is lovely to have it. Even if it makes you feel a bit sick.

I travelled in India as part of my year 2000 travels. I remember that when I wanted to check my email it took about 20 to 30 minutes to open ONE email sometimes. Can get pretty frustrating!
And oh yes, I'd love postcards!!!!!!!!!!
I know I know we don't really know each other yet but I just LOVE cards :)

I think with the amount of journaling and commenting we do we will know each other quite well reasonably soon!
Some of my postcard messages can be quite mad as a warning I did a fandom one for Torchwood to a friend from Austria after spotting an anomaly in the picture on the postcard. But I can promise they will show the area I am in!
I'll be putting an entry up for addresses in the next couple of days
